IMPORTANT: CatchmentScore is an independent data analysis and distance evaluation tool. CatchmentScore is NOT a local authority, school admission authority, or statutory education body. Our probability ratings and distance calculations do NOT constitute an offer of admission or guarantee of placement. Formal applications must always be submitted via your local authority Common Application Form (CAF).

School catchment boundaries, cut-off distances, and oversubscription criteria vary each academic year based on birth demographics, parental preference volumes, and sibling numbers. Past allocation distances serve as indicative historical benchmarks only.

2. Nature of Service & Digital Delivery

CatchmentScore offers digital dossiers (Tier 1 £19, Tier 2 £34) containing straight-line distance measurements, 5-year historic allocation cut-offs, sibling quota analysis, and appeal guidance. Upon successful completion of payment via Stripe, access to the digital PDF is generated and provided immediately.

3. Consumer Rights & Cancellation Policy

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, digital content delivered instantly is exempt from the statutory 14-day cancellation cooling-off period once digital download has commenced with your explicit consent. If you encounter any technical error with PDF generation, our automated systems will regenerate the report or our team will resolve it within 24 hours at support@catchmentscore.co.uk.

4. Spatial Calculation Methodology

Straight-line distances are computed using the Haversine equation ($r = 6,371,000$ meters) between the applicant postcode centroid and the school gate coordinates published in the DfE GIAS register. Individual councils may employ Ordnance Survey AddressBase MasterMap coordinates with minor millimeter variations.
